I feel your pain-I have both and was disappointed when I received the 1929 edition. I do think that they should have left in the text that was removed.

In response to the Strongs Book of Designs in the old forum:

Robare,

The 1917 editions I have both have those four pages. Interestingly enough, one has grid marks behind the harp or lyre, but not the other one.
