Back when the movie was on the big screen, I suggested that everyone should go see it. It has now been released on DVD and I bought it today...for me! Wow!
There was a short clip at the movies called "Boundin'", roughly 5 minutes long. The DVD was on sale for around $16, and the Boundin' clip is worth every penny and more. We have a High-Def TV, and when played through a DVD, the clip is so beautiful, bright, and crisp. I know I've watched the short clip (Academy Award Nominated) close to 20 times already today, and my kids are watching it again now.
The DVD set also includes two extra clips about the making of Boundin', also well worth watching. The same guy, Bud Luckey wrote the whole thing, drew all the original animated characters and scene, wrote the music, and did all the voices. They show quite a few of the first drawings in those clips. Bud Lucky was also the guy who designed Woody in Toy Story, among others. He was a 2-D animator for 20 years before moving to computer animation.
And, besides the regular movie (Academy Award Winner), there is a new clip called "Jack-Jack Attack". That one is guaranteed to make you laugh and want to watch it over and over. The two DVD set is loaded with other goodies and behind the scenes clips and interviews.
I think this is a MUST HAVE DVD for all the artists among us. For around $16, it is another bargain. I can't imagine ever getting tired of watching Boundin'.

Well, Mike's right. Again.
He strongly suggested I get the Incredibles DVD. Bought it today and watched Boundn and Jack Jack Attack, haven't even watched the film yet, but the two shorts are, well, incredible. Very well done and fun to watch.
Watch the commentary too, very informative and extremely interesting.
Check it out.
