Ratio for making tin

Awhile back Dave Smith was kind enough to give me his formula for making Tin Solution. Being deslexic I think I may have written it down wrong.

.8 grams Stannous Chloride I think it should be .08
1000 Mil H2O

0.8 GRAMS PER 1000 ML is all that is needed. This amount I tested for the removal of vinyl only to stop any jagged edge of the silver glow line.
You would not need to use as much for regular silvering ,maybe 0.5 to 6 would be enough.

How can one wheigh the difference between 0,5 and 0,8 grams?
I have not found a wheighing scale yet that does it....

One go's down to ones local head shop and buy a small pocket scale for 20.00. Works great.Man I never knew there was so many choices in bongs. Good thing I never used one.

You can buy what's called a palmscale.
do a search on google and you should find it there.

The first time, I pilled up 4 grams and devided it in 16 bits...
A bit strange, but since then I roughly took the same amount.

Mine is called ProScale 222 " The deuce"

I originally had a triple beam scale but back then you never weighed anything small than a gram. Glad those days are over.
