I had a call today from Tom with disturbing news. He has been recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer but has a real positive attitude about having had a great life. He sold his shop in Dove Creek, CO 9 years ago but still has a large stock of signpainting stuff including a huge inventory of 1Shot, brushes, complete SignCraft collection, etc. The people who bought him out only wanted the vinyl end of the business. Long story shortened, he would like to sell all that is left to someone interested, maybe just starting in the busines. He would like to liquidate everything so his wife does not have to deal with stuff she knows nothing about. He is putting together an inventory for anyone interested. Kent.........there's so little to say to something like this. I would love to visit/purchase this mans goods but it would be hard to use the materials even if I were anywhere near the area. I've lost a couple good friends to this type of cancer and am sure it was hard to even contemplate this post. Well wishes to all involved and can only hope he becomes a "poster boy" version of how pancreatic cancer is solved.
