Restoration Work
These glass panels have just come into be restored. I was wondering if anyone had heard of this Cigerette company. Murattis?
The Mineral Waters has some nice simple but effective acid work. Interesting glass scratching also within the castle illustration.

Boy the acid was really interupted. Don't think the cigaettes were imported here. Can we see a close up of the castle to see the scraatching or are you just teasing?

Robare. Yes this is a stippled asphaltum ,they would have used Brunswick Black over here but I would imagine its a simalar product ,nice strong effect though. I have had good results with this technique. Looks good using a very fine mica with a deep etch to it.

Re: Restoration Work
Ya know Dave, I like to look at the glass sign pictures you post...I like to look at the background reflections of what you have in the shop even more.
You should post some pics of the inside of your shop. That way I can tell you what I want for Christmas.

This glass came in today . they would like this one re-made. It is out of a cabinet which displays old pen-nibs
