Solvent Identification Contest :)

Okay...remember this might have happened at Kelly's Pub after a long day of a Letterheads meeting, and also remember there might have been a beer to two involved...

A bunch of us were laughing about was things we could do at an upcoming Letterheads meeting. Someone suggested a Solvent Identification Contest! (in jest) You would put a small amount of laquer thinner, benzine, alcohol, toluline, mineral spirits, gasoline, kerosene, various screen thinner including vinyl ink thinner, acetone, and so forth in a small jar with a number on each. Each contestant would have a chart with numbers and you would go by an smell each bottle and try to identify it! We figured the winner wasn't going to be the one who got the matches right as much as who was still standing upright by the end.

DON'T TRY THIS...It was just something that resulted from a few too many beers. Some of it might have been the result of too many people working with too many of those solvents in their shop, killing mass quantities of brain cells along the way.

Letterheads memories....
