Paint additive / topcoat for specific purpose?

Post by Willie Stargell »

Hello -

Need to paint a few 48x48" logos on the outside of some big windows. Would you recommend using the hardener with one shot for this? How about a varnish over top?
I usually paint in reverse....

Also curious about another technique - she wants distressed/aged lettering on her truck. What are your favorite methods for achieving this look?
I've been using a little one shot, mix in flattening paste and clear - with mixed success. Still looks more transparent than weather-aged if that makes sense. Anything I should try?

Thanks,
Will
