Re: Glass Etching Cream
Erik, Etching cream doesn't "etch" any depth, just a light frost on the surface of the glass. It doesn't produce a clear etch like HF either. I have wondered though if it could be used to abraid the surface enough for hide glue to grab on to. If it could be used in that situation we might ...

Re: glue chipping...........
Hey Roderick, As I have been doing more chipping the process has been getting quicker every time. I'm thinking the glue I've been using might be the ticket? Who knows. Lee mentioned the guy in our area doing the commercial chipping, that it's done overnight. Maybe He's using the same glue. Maybe the...

Re: glue chipping...........
Well, since you put me on the spot here Vance.... It was nice talking to you! It seems everyone has thier own environment and way of doing things that work for them. At Larry's they where pouring hot glue from a measuring cup covering the piece. It worked well for them using that method. I opted to ...

Re: Brush oil
Pat, I've allways used lard oil as well... untill it was no longer to be found. Since I ran out I've ben using baby oil and I've never been quite satisfied with it. I've heard of the Neadsfoot oil Doug is speaking of but had never tried it. There are some other brush oils at the sign supply here suc...

Re: FYI, Computer Art Node Reduction...
It's being converted to the wrong type of points. You need to have it convert to tangent points that have the handles. It looks as if it's being converted to the type of points that don't have the flyout control handles. Grab one of the points and you should see that no handles appear. I've had this...

Rod, I'd really be interested in how you cut the glass so nicely.
If you had another method than just a regular glass cutter.
Thanks for the compliment as well,
Jerry

Goodman Properties Piece
I just delivered this today and installed it. Who would have thought a real estate business would want a glass piece. They are located inside of a golf course country club, and the sign is indoors. So, it should work out for them. The place is very big with basketball courts, raquetball courts, spas...
