Re: Blending behind glass problems

Erik, I believe it's painted on too thick, notice how it looks like a palate that had extra paint on it that dried and wrinkled up. Vance, "too fat" might reference thickness not necessary in this case, where as Doug mentioned Linseed oil, in which I agree with and use, is much closer to t...

Re: Frog Juice over Gold

Frog Juice has held up for us 7 years when 3 coats are applied by brush with out thinning. R.Glawson Had a panel facing upright on top of his van that boasted 10 years of performance and counting. If your thinning frog juice you'll find the product tend to buckle up or crack apart. Wait for your gol...

Kristi & I 've used this on the last couple of monument signs.

Works just like the other foams, although there was a "fish" smell to it when we opened the containers and also when cutting the product, not bad for the cost savings.

The alcolhol is just a step through base chemicals.

Alcolhol added to water size, accellerates dry time and helps reduce snail trails from gelatin deposits, use less than 5% and work fast.

Mikes & Kent are correct, increase to at least 5-6 diamonds and when using Palladium or Silver increase the amount.

You should also try Mikes method to find your best results on a test panel.

Hello John, 1Shot acrylic clear and Chromatic Acylic Clear will work fine. Hi Raymond,
Mask & Sand well with a Green Scuff pad or 400 grit, then degreese and paint with One Shot(Hardener is optional) or spray with your Krylon.

I'd Rollar coat them myself with One Shot.

Hi Rick,
Double and triple-paned windows are being filled with an insulating gas to prevent heat transfer through the windows. The most commonly used gases are Argon and/or Krypton.

I'd think your pretty save on these types of windows, even it they're not filled with rare gases.

Keith,
I think Alcohol Soluble Aniline Dyes might be the best way to go. There are also some Aniline Metal dyes available that have 20 year durability without damaging the felt.

Another option would be to contact a pool table company and see how they approach this.

Good Luck
