Robert, those Mucha pieces are just wonderful! I have several books with his work and from time to time page through just soaking in the details of his work. What type of wood is the carved piece? Are you planning on doing more carved pieces as well?

Copper?
Has anyone seen the new detective program 'Copper' on the BBC channel? It's time period is mid 1800s in New York City and there are a lot of street scenes with an abundance of old signs and lettering on the city streets, for those that may be interested. Anyone happen to know who did the signage?

Jay, as always a great job Appreciate your sharing your project journey. I'm curious to know if there is any type of 'protective' coating applied to aid in the removal 'spray can' artwork should it happen?

Happy Birthday to both of you guys. Must be an awful lot of folks out there without lic...

Danny, thanks for the information. Do you have any guesses where it might have come from? Sometimes those malware items can just drive you crazy trying to get rid of them. What antivirus/firewall/etc software are you using?

Sir Doug, truly amazing work As I have said before your carving skills are astonishing. Thank you so much for sharing these photos with all of us wannabee carvers.
You are, as one of Noel's glass pieces from years ago said, an "Executive Craftsman" in the truest sense.

Ah yes, mechanical drafting, the trade that was always going to be in demand - something every young man should take to prepare for his future. Fond memeories to be sure. I still have my mechanical pencil sharpener, that goes round-n-round and collects a ton of pencil lead, in the original box. Just...
